About Us

Dedicated Staff

We are delighted that you have chosen our program and know that you want the very best for your child. We seek to provide a loving, nurturing, environment in which each child will feel special and important. Each teacher is dedicated to providing the very best for your child. Our teachers are continuously attending workshops or education classes which provide them with new and creative teaching ideas. They also bring to our program years of teaching experience and education. Our program is rich in learning and gives children the opportunity to explore art, science, literature, dramatic play, music, movement education, foreign language and much, much more!

First-Rate Curriculum

It is our philosophy that children learn best through play, and it is best practice to have a balance of teacher-led activities, teacher facilitated activities, and child-directed/free play times throughout the day.  Teachers will develop thematic units to help children learn and practice skills in a context.  An "integrated theme" or "unit" approach incorporates activities that promote children's development across all domains including cognitive, language, fine and gross motor, social and emotional, and spiritual.

Our Mission

St. Mark's Preschool/Kindergarten is a non-profit, tuition based program.  The primary mission is one of Christian ministry to young children. We see all children as worthy individuals, capable of success, and we strive to instill in them a positive self-image and confidence in their own abilities.
